Acquisitions by Octopus Capital: an overview

2006: The seed for Octopus Capital is sown.

A first takeover takes place: the young Ir. Frederick Pollet becomes the new manager of PAMO Metaalwerken NV. Shortly before that, the company - which was then still located in Buggenhout - celebrated its 50th anniversary. In the following years, investments were made in a new fleet and new machines. In order to be able to continue to support the expansion of the company, PAMO moved to the new location in Dendermonde in 2016. With the move to this impressive new building, the surface area was tripled. The purchase of 7000m² of additional industrial land guaranteed the possibility of further expansion.

In 2006, POMECON was founded as a supporting holding company for PAMO. In 2007 an independent course was set and the company was modified into a real estate group under the leadership of Céline Staelens. This company focuses on the rental of apartments and shops throughout Belgium.

The next acquisition will be completed in 2013. The successful company PNEUVANO BV is entrusted to the new CEO Jan Justé. With its head office in Wommelgem, this distributor of pneumatics, fluid control, vacuum and robot applications enjoys an excellent reputation. Annually, Pneuvano takes care of more than 10,000 orders from more than 2000 active customers, an impressive figure.

In 2018, the company ITALMASTER BELGIUM NV is taken over. CEO Michel Staelens is breathing new life into this company - specialized in the production and sale of masterbatches, monopigments and compounds. Investments are immediately made in a new brand Identity, a new website and more online communication. In 2021, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards, in 2019, the acquisition of NV PRODIM SA in Neder-over-Heembeek followed. CEO Jan Justé - in addition to his activities at Pneuvano - takes the lead. The company - which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2021 - consists of a dedicated team with many years of experience and an impeccable reputation.
