PRODIM Industrial Valves & Automation celebrated its 40th anniversary on 6 February.

Founded in 1981, PRODIM has a team of people who have each been in the industry for over 20 years. To support its growth over the years, this team has been supplemented with dynamic young people who think and act service-oriented.

FROM PLASTICS APPENDAGES...

In the early years, PRODIM mainly focused on corrosion-resistant plastic valves (SAFI). Customers were the chemical world, agriculture and water technology. This range was later expanded to include FIBERDUR (glass fiber reinforced plastic pipes and accessories in polyester, vinylester or epoxy).

... AND VALVE AUTOMATION...

Many customers also know PRODIM as a specialist in actuators for valves and valves: manual and pneumatic, (electro-) hydraulic, fail-safe (SIL) and electric actuators. Partners in this: ROTORK including REMOTE CONTROL (with a range of scotch-yoke pneumatic actuators to high-tech actuators for high-risk environments. Also electric control actuators, an alternative to pneumatic control actuators, with high accuracy for process control) and KINETROL (with its patented pneumatic 'vane-type' drive, the quarter-turn drive with the longest dynamic life on the market).

In 2006 Freddy Franceus joined the management. He strengthened the team of product specialists and profiled PRODIM as a total supplier in fittings for piping. The automation was completed with a full range of ball valves (from floating ball to trunnion mounted, from soft seated to metal seated) and butterfly valves (from simple cast iron to high performance 4-offset metal seated). In addition to the standard material - which is no longer standard due to its high quality - PRODIM also supplies accessories for special applications: valves for cryogenic applications, desuperheaters (desuperheaters), pressure regulators and safety valves (CARRARO). Also safety accessories such as tank protection (PROTECTOSEAL) and flange protectors (SAFE-RING, preventing product from spraying away in the event of a cracked flange seal), specialized casing for fire protection (DARCHEM THERMAL PROTECTION) or cover caps for the rods of linear valves (STEMSHIELD), which in addition to mechanical protection of the bars should also protect tripping operators from serious injuries).

EUROPEAN BRANDS, KNOWLEDGE, SERVICE

In 2015, PRODIM has set up a product range that covers the entire series of pipe fittings. Because production stoppages are not done for production companies, they only offer quality material: a range of European brands.
