We target small and medium-sized companies with an EBITDA between EUR 1 million and EUR 5 million. Preference for majority participation, a minority participation can be considered.

We invest in SMEs from different sectors, but because of our extensive technical experience, companies in the manufacturing industry and technical wholesalers are our preference.

Exit options

We mainly aspire to long-term collaborations with partners, investors and staff and never have an exit as the goal in an acquisition. We like to keep the company in our portfolio and benefit from its growth.

Both companies with headquarters in Belgium - with or without international activities - and companies abroad are eligible.

Octopus Capital also stimulates healthy ambition by continuing to invest in expertise and training within the various companies.

We are not a Private Equity that often wishes to achieve returns in the short term. As an Investment Partner, we want to distinguish ourselves by optimizing the chances of success with an active involvement and by focusing on good relationships and results in the long term.
