OCTOPUS CAPITAL is run by 4 passionate partners with more than 40 years of corporate experience. Due to highly positive investment experiences, the need grew to evolve from a years-long successful collaboration to a full investment partnership in 2021. Octopus Capital has a thorough expertise in the field of finance, investment and technicality. There is a strong conviction among our partners that a symbiosis between different companies is the guarantee for optimization, innovation and successful growth.

Our focus

Our TARGET COMPANIES are industrial companies with a focus on technical production or the sale of technical products. The Octopus Capital team has extensive experience in this segment and is full of ambition to optimize the various operations within the group through multidisciplinarity and synergy. Our focus is not only on Belgian companies, we also explore abroad in order to supplement the investment group with complementary companies.

2006

The young engineer Frederick Pollet takes over his first company and thus becomes the new manager of PAMO METAALWERKEN NV.

2006

POMECON was founded in 2006 as a supporting holding company for PAMO. In 2007, an independent course was taken and the company was modified into a real estate group under the leadership of Céline Staelens.

2013

A partnership is entered into between Frederick Pollet and Jan Justé for the acquisition of PNEUVANO BV in Wommelgem. Partner Jan Justé is appointed as new CEO.

2018

A partnership is entered into between Frederick Pollet and Michel Staelens for the acquisition of ITALMASTER BELGIUM NV in Gentbrugge. Partner Michel Staelens is appointed as new CEO.

2019

After a very positive collaboration between the partners Frederick Pollet and Jan Justé, a new challenge is taken up with the acquisition of PRODIM NV in Brussels. Partner Jan Justé is appointed as new CEO.

2020

The idea of setting up an investment group is growing. The 4 partners decide to join forces and start an investment partnership under the name Octopus Capital.

2021

Octopus Capital gets a new brand identity and website.

2024

Acquisition of Grada International NV. Partner Frederick Pollet works on efficiency improvement. Michel Staelens works on commercial optimization and Céline Staelens provides office support.
